In conjunction with the notion of taking care of people, Byrne hopes to create a youth group called Milaners, which will encourage the young people of Milan to participate in community service projects throughout the town.

“Hopefully this project will help build character in young people, help the people benefiting from the service, and help build cohesion among the residents of the town,” said Byrne. “It will also help build resumes up so they’re marketable to colleges and the work force.”
